By car

From Rio de Janeiro: approximately 2 hours of travel. After taking the Rio-Niterói bridge, take the exit to Rio Bonito. After Rio Bonito, take the Via Lagos towards Araruama/Cabo Frio (Região dos Lagos). At the end of the Via Lagos, continue straight for 5 km, until the viaduct on the left, indicating Búzios, Macaé and Rio das Ostras, at the entrance of São Pedro da Aldeia. Take then the RJ-106 towards Macaé/Búzios. After 14 km, right after the "Até que Enfim" gas station, turn right and continue for around ten minutes to reach Búzios.

From the north of the Rio de Janeiro State: at the BR-101, take the exit to Rio das Ostras and continue for 56 km to reach Búzios.

From Belo Horizonte: Crossing Petrópolis, go down the mountain range and take the Rio-Teresópolis to reach Magé. Then drive towards Manilha and Rio Bonito (BR-101) and follow the itinerary as if you were coming from Rio de Janeiro.

From the Via Dutra

From São Paulo: take the exit 166 A, towards Linha Vermelha. At the Linha Vermelha, take the exit on the left towards Niterói and Região dos Lagos. Turn left again and you will reach the Rio-Niterói bridge.
